Thelma Maynell Adams, 86, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at her home. She was born on July 20, 1925, in Liberty, Ky. Her parents were Calvin Adams and Maude Lee.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Slack; two sons, Wallace (and Lynn) Bryant and Donnie (and Regina) Bryant; three brothers, Kenneth (and Faye) Adams, Clifton (and Phyllis) Adams, and Vernon (and Marian) Adams; three sisters, Rebecca (and Jack) McConoughy, Blanch (and Dave) Koehler, and Louise Mason; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Fred Bryant; one grandson, Christopher Slack; two sisters; and one brother.
