He was born in Melilli, Sicily, the son of the late Vincenzo and Sebastiana (Syracuse) Annino. Prior to his retirement, Gino was the owner of Middletown Drywall for over 40 years.
He was a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge 771, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, visits to Cold Springbrook Farm, western movies, and watching all sports especially the Yankees.
Besides his wife Barbara, he is survived by his sons Vincent Annino and his wife Elizabeth of Middletown, Peter Annino, Sr. and his wife Patricia of Middletown, daughters Gina Dombrowski and her husband Daniel of FL, Krista Annino Santagata and her husband Brodi of Middletown, sister Lina Annino Marchese of Melilli, Sicily, six grandchildren, Peter Annino, Jr., Madison Annino, Samantha Formica, Alyssa Annino, Brody Santagata and Brayden Santagata, also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Emmanuel Annino.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:45 a.m. from Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St.., Middletown followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Mary Church, Middletown. Burial will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home.
