John Abercrombie died last night
at the Bridgeport hospital, at the age of 74 years. Mr. Abercrombie was well known in fraternal circles having been the fraternal correspondent of the K. of P. for a long time. He was the organizer of the Bridgeport lodge and P. T. Barnum lodge, and was Past Chancellor of the latter organization. He was also an honorary member of Clan Campbell and Hira Temple, K. O. K. K. of New Britain. Mr. Abercrombie was born in Airdrie, Scotland, in 1844, but had been in this country many years. He was an employee of the Singer company at the time of his death. He is survived by his brother, C. M. Abercrombie of 27 Hayes street.
