Mr. Anderson attended Newmarket High School and graduated in 1969 from Kimball Union Academy in Meriden. From 1969 to 1973 he attended Northeastern University and was a 1999 graduate of Hesser College.
While growing up he was active in Newmarket Community Church, Boy Scouts, Tiger 1 Handtub Association, and Little League. He was a member of Rising Star Lodge 47 of Newmarket and a former member of Bektash Shriners of New Hampshire and Bektash Highlanders. He was presently coaching Pony League in Manchester.
He was formerly employed by Shawmut Bank of Boston.
In addition to his parents, the family includes his wife of 28 years, Elaine (Riley) Anderson of Manchester; son Lance Cpl. Erik E. Anderson, USMC, of Camp Lejuene NC; daughter Jessica Anderson Peterson of La Puente CA; a granddaughter; brother Dr. Michael E. Anderson of San Francisco CA; sister Kristin E. Blue of Aiken SC; and an uncle, a nephew, and four nieces.
A funeral service was held on June 4, 2004, at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Wuori officiating. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery in Newmarket.
