At the age of 79, our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away November 16, 2011 at home in Salt Lake City. John grew up in Neche, North Dakota. As a young man he proudly served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean war. Later he married his wife of 47 years, Margot Schweizer. For 30 years John worked for Litton Industries. He enjoyed fishing with friends and spending time with his family. His sense of humor and generous spirit will be remembered by those lucky enough to have known him.
Survived by his wife, son, John (Carla), his two special granddaughters Megan and Hannah, three sisters: Margaret Hill (Dick), Jean Mountain, Sandy McNutt, and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and younger sister Mary Lou.
