Harold a resident of Omaha, was a successful and respected business man in Council Bluffs for over 50 years.
He was a partner in the Peoples Department Store and later founded Peoples True Value, a large hardware and home center store in Council Bluffs.
Upon the sale of his business in 1996, Harold enjoyed over 20 years of active retirement. During his 50 years in business, he was recognized and honored many times for his leadership and involvement in Council Bluffs business community.
He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed golf well into his 90's and was a 50 year Nebraska Football season ticket holder.
