Frank A. Campbell, 61, of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at his residence. Local visitation will begin 5:00 pm, Friday, March 25, 2016 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church until 9:00am Sunday, March 27, 2016. Services in Santee, Nebraska will be at 10:00 am, Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Santee Community Center. Burial will be at Holy Faith Cemetery in Santee, NE. Local arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, Santee services under direction of Santee Wake and Burial Services.

Frank was born on May 25, 1954 in Winnebago, Nebraska, the son of Frank and Florence (West) Campbell. He graduated high school in Sioux City. Frank married Gloria Thomas in September of 1982.

Frank had worked various jobs, but his most recent was at St. John's Lutheran Church as a custodian. Frank loved people, and was able to put a positive twist on even the worst situations. He was a traditional Native American dancer, enjoyed going to powwows, watching baseball, and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Thomas; children, Heath Campbell, Cody Campbell, Shona Campbell and her husband Parish Miller, and Serena Campbell, all of Sioux City; brother, Ron Campbell of Wichita, KS; sisters. Rose Rockwood, Mary Campbell, Shirley Campbell of Sioux City, and Karen Stovall and her husband Brian of Wichita, KS; and grandchildren. Tilynn and Frankie.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Campbell; and sisters, Doris Nieman, Betty Campbell, and Linda Gomez
