Anna Louise Johnson was born in Glad Hammer County, Sweden, April 22, 1847, and died March 16, 1912, aged 64 years, 10 months and 24 days.
She came to America in 1871, was married to Gustaf Frederick Anderson June 24, 1871. To this union were born seven children, three sons and four daughters. The husband, three sons and one daughter have gone on before her. Three daughters survive: Mrs. James Donnelly of Oaks, N. D., Mrs. J. B. Nickerson of Lebanon, Neb., Mrs. Will Oates of Grafton, Neb. The deceased was a member of the Swedish Lutheran Church in her early days. She has lived in this vicinity for nearly thirty years.
Until two weeks ago, she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Nickerson, but since then with Mrs. William Oates, where she expected to spend her last years. After a period of two weeks sickness, she quietly passed away Saturday morning about 9 o'clock. Her life was spent chiefly in the home. Her neighbors respected her and speak highly of her character. suffering has been her lot for very many years. Death has brought her relief from pain. she has gone where pain cannot trouble her longer.
