A graveside service for Katherine M.
Langschied Reeves, 90, was Saturday,
July 19, 2003, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery,
Frankfort.
She was born July 31,1912,the daughter
of John J. and Margaret Treinen Adams,
northwest of Frankfort in the Winifred
community.She attended Walker Rural
elementary and graduated from St.Michael's
High School in Axtell.
On April 25, 1955, she married Elmer
"Pat" Langschied. He died Sept. 6, 1977.
On Sept. 22, 1979, she married Walton
Reeves. He died Nov. 7, 1986.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception
Church in Louisburg, Kan., until she moved
to Marian Hall in Kansas City, Kan. When
her health declined recently, she moved
to Villa St. Francis in Olathe.
Besides her husbands, Katherine was
preceded in death by her siblings:
Magdalene Adams, Marie Wagner, Irene Adams,
Margaret Noud, Alice Atkin and John Adams.
Survivors include her son, Joseph Langschied;
stepson, Kenneth Reeves; sisters Genitha
Horigan, Frankfort, and Ruth Adams, Overland
Park; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
