Ned D. Holzrichter, 73, of Hooker, passed away Wed.,Nov. 24, 2004 at his home. He was born Nov. 26, 1930 at Epworth Hospital in Liberal, Ks. son of Pete & Ethel Jacobs Holzrichter. He grew up in the Hooker area and went to high school there. In 1947, he joined the US Navy & was stationed at Guantanamo Bay in Puerto Rico. He was discharged in 1950 due to his father's poor health. He married Donna Marie Hofferber in October of 1951. Four daughters were born to their union.
Ned was employed by Natural Gas Pipeline of America for 30 years. He retired in 1986. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church & his hobbies included fishing, reading & Sun. night Bingo.
