DAVID CUNNINGHAM SUCCUMBS TO DEATH
David Cunningham passed away at the family residence 101 Apple st Wednesday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock. The deceased was born at Table Mound township July 12, 1849 and had been in ill health for the past three years. His wife and the following children survive: Nellie, Mary, Jim, John, and William of this city,James of Emmetsburg; three brothers, James and Martin of Dubuque and Michael of Sioux
City, two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Cox and Mrs. Thomas Hackney, city.
The deceased was a well known resident of Dubuque county, where he was engaged in farming for many years. He was a devout Catholic and passed away comforted by the last sacraments of the church.
The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the family residence to St. Columbkills with interment at Mt. Olivet.
