She was a native of Greenville County, a daughter of the late B.S. and Olive (Austin) Hollingsworth and for many years the family lived on the Augusta Road near Moonville, but for the past seven years have lived on the Woodruff Road.
She was a member of Bethuel Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Garrison is survived by two brothers, W.T. Hollingsworth of Asheville, North Carolina, and H.M. Hollingsworth of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete but will be announced later from the offices of James F. Mackey and Sons, morticians, and until the hour of the service, the body will remain at the mortuary.

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Helen Hollingsworth Garrison, 45, of the Woodruff Road Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock conducted by Dr. O.L. Jones and the Rev. T.I. Painter at the Mackey Mortuary. Interment will follow in the Bethuel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Heary Williams, Joe Hollingsworth, Frank Hollingsworth, James Parris, Leroy Hollingsworth and Archie Wynne. They will meet at the mortuary at 3:50 o'clock.
Mrs. Garrison's death followed a brief illness, and occurred at a local hospital Monday night at 7:40 o'clock.
She was the daughter of the late B.S. and Olive (Austin) Hollingsworth, and was born and reared in Greenville County. Before moving to the present home place
seven years ago, she lived in the Moonville community. She was 45 years of age.
Mr. Garrison was a member of the Bethuel Baptist Church.
The body is at the mortuary.
