HELEBRANT, Eliska (Elsie) Helen
born Nov, 26, 1921, in New Hradec, North Dakota. Passed away Feb. 24, 2008, after a short illness. She moved to Palmdale in 1953, and lived here until 1973, when she moved to Yucca Valley, Calif. She moved back to Lancaster in 1989, to live with her daughter and to help raise her grandchildren. In Yucca Valley she became a member of the Rebekah's and became the President of their chapter in 1985. She always loved to garden and bake her wonderful banana bread. She leaves behind her only child, Connie Mathias and her 3 grandchildren, Olivia, Amanda and Ryan Mathias. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend and will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years Edwin Helebrant. Visitation Feb. 27, 2008, Funeral Services held Feb. 28, 2008, both at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale.
