Ora Dell Cook, 91, formerly of 2882 Highway 252, widow of George H. Cook, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at National Health Care of Clinton.

Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late George and Juanita Bobo Pulley. She was a homemaker and a member of St. James United Methodist Church, Watts Mill Mother's Club, the Ruth Casey Sunday School Class, and United Methodist Women.

Surviving are two sons, Henry Kent Cook and wife, Carolyn, of Laurens, and Richard Bruce Cook and wife, Betty, of Abbeville; a daughter, Bonnie Cook Bouknight and husband, Garnette, of Irmo; five sisters, Margaret Rhodes of Spartanburg, Winnie Mae Lashley of Laurens, Evelyn Bell of Laurens, Marcelle Lynch of Moore and Juanita Hammett of Inman; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one son-in-law, Marshall Watkins of Laurens. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marcia Watkins; a brother Bryson Pulley; and three sisters, Kathleen Bramlett, Myrtle West and Carolyn Gaston.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at St. James United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Charlie Short, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence, and will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary tonight, Nov. 16, 2004, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
