Gordon R. Owen of Preston Park, Pa. formerly of Towanda, died at his home early Friday morning following a heart attack. He was 44 years of age.
At the time of his death he was a service man with the Penn Electric Company at Preston Park. He was a member of the Universalist Church of Towanda; Union Lodge No. 108, F. and A.M.; Union chapter No. 161, Royal Arch Masons; Beirne-Webster Post of the V.F.W. and the Towanda American Legion post. Surviving are his wife, the former Marie Strope of Towanda; his mother, Mrs. Eva Owen; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Bedillon of Phoenix, Ariz, Mrs. John Kelley and Mrs. William Malone of Washington, Pa. and a brother, Robert of Washington, PA.
