Greensburg, Ky , Dec. 7,—Mrs. Nettie Russell Gumm, 72, of the New Salem community of Green County, died at 3:15 a.m. today at a Louisville nursing home, where she had been a patient four months. Until two years ago, Mrs. Gumm had operated store of her husband, the late Joseph Gumm, at New Salem. She ran the store about 30 years. Surviving are two sons, Everett Gumm, Greensburg, and Curtis Gumm, Prospect; a brother, Charley Russell. Campbellsville, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Alice Mays, Greensburg, and Mrs. Laura Marcum, Oregon, Ill. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at New Salem Baptist Church, The body is at McKinney Funeral Home here.
