I married Clifton Ray Coley on Sept 21, 1961
in San Antonio, Texas. We traveled to Florida, and up to Chicago, Illinois. Then went from there to Sanford, North Carolina where we lived for 2 and half months, back to Chicago for a month and then back to Utah where our first son James was born. When he was 6 weeks old we moved back to North Carolina and lived in Lemon Springs, and Sanford for 2 and half years. While living in North Carolina I had the privledge of meeting most of his family. I loved his brothers, and sisters they were so good to me. While living in North Carolina our second son Raymond was born. When he was 11 months old we moved back to Utah. 2 years later our baby Cathy was born.

Cliff and I lived in Salt Lake, Murray, Kearns and West Jordan. Cliff's favorite thing to do was fish. We spent almost every day off fishing at one resevoir or another, so our kids learned to fish really young. We took vacations with the kids to Disneyland, Bryce Canyon and spent many nights at KOA campgrounds. In the 1970's we took two vacations back to North Carolina to visit family.

Cliff was a mechanic and worked mainly running gas stations or doing mechanic work for them. Cliff and I had a lot of good years together and we had 3 beautiful children, but then things fell apart and we divorced in 1982. Cliff died 3 years later in 1985.

He had worked at Hill Air Force Base during the second world War working on airplanes. That is how he ended up in Utah.

When Cliff and I went back to North Carolina in 1962 his family was thrilled to see him. They did not know if he was dead or alive. They had not seen him in 17 years. I remember his sister Leoma thanking me for bringing him home.

Rest in Peace Cliff and take care of our boys who are in heaven with you now.

I have tried to keep up on the family history of his three marriages. I actually know all of his children from the other two marriages with the exception of two, Linda and Lester (Although I did talk to Lester on the phone) Linda and I have talked since.
I cherish the memories that I have of my step children. Some of them I was very close with. We have lost a lot of the children. May they all rest in sweet eternal peace.
