John Lane, age 95, one of Richland County's oldest residents and a lifelong resident of the county, died Tuesday at his home in Dundas folowing a long illness.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gertie Utterback of Dundas, one son, Harl Lane also of Dundas, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was born i German township in 1847.
Funeral services were held this (Thursday) afternoon with Rev. Lyle Berry in charge and interment was at the Stoltz cemetery.
