Philip Towle and Isabella Asten/Austin are his parents.He was one of the "Society for the settling of Chester County",he was the guy to go to to get it done.

He was united in marriage on 29 Apr 1698 in Hampton to Zipporah Brackett,daughter of Anthony Brackett Jr. and Susannah Drake They are the parents of twelve children:

ii Elizabeth Towle b. 9 Jan 1699, Hampton, NH,23 d. 13 Mar 1741, Kingston, Rock., NH?.
iii Caleb Towle b. 9 May 1701, Hampton, NH,23 d. 3 Feb 1795, Danville (Hawke), Rockingham, NH, buried: Old Meeting House Cemetary.26 Caleb Towle lived in Hawke (now Danville), NH (Dow, 1893, page 1001). He had by will his father's home lot in Chester, NH, on which his son Elisha had previously settled (Lindsay, 1889, page 368).
iv Anthony Towle b. 30 Apr 1703, Hampton, NH,8 d. 1765, Chester, Rockingham, NH?. Anthony Towle settled in Chester, NH, where he was a constable in 1734. His son Phineas was made administrator of his estate in May of 1765 (Chase, 1869, page 600).
v Zechariah Towle b. 13 Aug 1705, Hampton, NH,23 d. 5 Aug 1787, Hampton, NH, buried: Pine Grove Cem., Hampton.21 Zechariah Towle lived at North Hampton, NH (Dow, 1893, page 1004).

vii Jeremiah Towle b. 5 Dec 1709, Hampton, NH,23 d. 7 Nov 1800, Hampton, NH,28 buried: Pine Grove Cem., Hampton.21 Jeremiah Towle died without children; his nephew Josiah Marston was his heir (Dow, 1893, page 1004). This may be the Jeremiah Towle who served in the Revolution in 1776, from Chester, NH (Chase, 1926, page 116). Jeremiah Towle appears in a list of residents of Danville (Hawke), NH (Collins, 1994, page 178).
viii Francis Towle b. 13 Jan 1711/12, Hampton, NH,23 d. ?? Mar 1790, Chester, Rockingham, NH?.28 Jones (1995, page 19) gives a date of death for Francis Towle as 11 Nov 1804. Francis and Judith (Sargent) Towle settled in Chester, NH (Dow, 1893, page 1001). This is probably the Francis Towle who was a Revolutionary soldier from Chester.

xi Abraham Towle 29 Nov 1719, Hampton, NH?,28 d. 4 ___ 1736, Hampton, NH?, buried: Pine Grove Cem.29 This date of death is from a list of old stones in the History of Hampton (Dow, 1893, p. 1063). Possibly it is for Abraham, oldest son of Zechariah Towle.
