Three Oaks, May 18, 1951—Conrad John Nelson, 78, of route 2, Three Oaks, died at 12:30 a.m. today at the Berrien County hospital at Berrien Center where he had been a patient since last Christmas.
Mr. Nelson was born in Stockholm, Sweden, Dec. 13, 1872. His wife, Flora Ella Nelson, died in 1933 in Peoria, Wis. He had lived in Three Oaks for nine years.
Surviving are a son, Murray C. Nelson of Michigan City, Ind,; four sisters, Mrs. Sophia Cooper of Culver City, Calif, Mrs. Jennie Gullickson of Hammond, Ind., Mrs. Hulda Ault of Oak Park, Ill., and Mrs. Frieda Vestine of Elkhart, Ind; and two brothers, Fred of Duluth, Minn., and Robert of Little Falls, Minn.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4p.m. at the Connelly funeral chapel in Three Oaks. A minister from the Seventh Day Adventist college in Berrien Springs will officiate and burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Edward Kieder, Fred Nimtz Sr., Fred Nimtz jr, Victor Charn, R.C. Oust, and Eugene Gridley.
