She was born Feb. 21, 1924, at Balkan, Ky., to William H. and Amanda A. Mink Jackson. She was married to Dallas Tip Shorter and later married Harry o. Bailey. Both are deceased. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy L. Woodring of Elkhart, Ind,; her companion, Albert Augustine of Concordia; three sisters Sally west and Mary Nease of Concordia and Margaret Hallabaugh of Peru Ind,; Eight grandchildren; seven grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Anna Jane, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Dec. 11, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia with the Rev. Duane Seitz Officiating.
