Mr. E. B. Lentz died at his home in this city, on Sunday last after ten days illness with pneumonia. He was born in Harrison county, Indiana, September 22, 1861, consequently was in the thirty-sixth year of his age at the time of his death. The deceased was a farmer, came to Chariton county in 1888, and leaves a widow, three sons and one daughter to mourn his loss. The funeral services took place at the home of the family in the northern suburbs of the city, Rev. J. O. Edmonston, pastor of the M. E. Church, officiating. Interment was made in Elliott Grove cemetery.
