Abraham Garber, an esteemed citizen of Johnsville, died Friday evening last of paralysis. The deceased was paralyzed several weeks ago and lingered very low for several weeks, when he began to improve and it was one time thought he would be able to out again, but he was take very ill several days before his death. Physicians were called in, but to no avail. He was an honest, upright man, respected by all who knew him. Interment was made at Beaverdam. He was 58 years, 9 months and 13 days.
