A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha Dodson Sisk.
Charles was a Navy veteran, serving in WWII. He was a retired textile employee and a member of Fellowship Holiness Church.Fellowship Holiness and is located on Deviney St. in Spindale.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Minnie Bell Norville Sisk of Rutherfordton; sons, Jerry Sisk and wife Christina of Bostic, Mike Sisk and wife Lynn of Rutherfordton, Gregory Sisk of Bostic; daughter Sandra Holt and husband Clarence of Bostic; brother Clifford Sisk of Spindale; 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Fellowship Holiness Church with Revs. Leon Brown, Rodger Hudgins and Chad Sisk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
