Mrs. Andrew Christopherson, 95, Graettinger, died at the home of her daughter in Carpenter on Saturday.
Ellen Marie Axelton was born Oct. 22, 1875, to Andrew and Karl Axelton. She moved to Graettinger with her parents at an early age.
She was married on Sept. 9, 1896, to Andrew O. Christopherson at Graettinger. With the
exception of one year they lived in Graettinger until they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Shortly after that Mr. Christopherson died and she then made her home with her daughters.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elvira Albrecht, Carpenter, and Mrs. Irma Loerke,
West Bend; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Bertha Axelton, Graettinger; and two brothers, William, Graettinger, and Clarence of Seal Beach, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at (he Bethel Lutheran Church, Graettinger.
Burial will be In Valley View Cemetery, Graettinger. The Rev. O. J. Rietz will officiate.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Graettinger.
