Helen D. Honigman, 87, of Waggoner, died at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at St. John's Hospital.

Helen was born June 23, 1925 in Springfield, the daughter of Ralph and Marie Giebel Cearlock. She married Francis Ralph Honigman on November 20, 1943 in Springfield. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marjorie Miller; brothers, Ralph Cearlock and Cecil Clyde Cearlock; son-in-law, Carlyle "Butch" Ushman; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Honigman.

Helen was a graduate of Riverton High School and briefly worked for Illinois Bell. While her husband was serving in WWII, she worked at the family business, Honigman's 66 Service Station. After his return she spent the rest of her life taking care of her family. She was a Charter Member of Little Flower Parish, a die-hard Cubs fan, enjoyed country music, dancing, and going to casinos.

She is survived by her children, Patricia, Ralph, and Jerry Honigman all of Waggoner, Helen Ushman of Virden, and Donald (wife, Becky) Honigman of Rochester; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; one sister, Jo Ann (husband, Bob) Flannigan of Stigler, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
