Margaret, a 1957 Urbana High School graduate and a member of the Urbana First Christian Church, operated a Day Care Center, which she started because of her love for children.
She was a very caring and giving lady of her talents and time. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Survivors include sons, Jason (Sheila) Runkle of Austin TX, Jared (Shonda Word) Runkle of Salem IL, grandchildren, Kristian, Jake and Kelsey Runkle, step-granddaughter, Kayla Lee, sisters, Myra (Jim) Oliver of Urbana, Irene (Larry) Peace of Cable, brothers, Lewis Brown, of St. Paris, R. Dean (Debbie) of Urbana.
Honoring Margaret's request, she will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service.
The family is being served by the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
