Ann Longstreth was born January 27, 1781, the daughter of Benjamin Longstreth (1749-1802) and Sarah Fussell (1751-1797). Ann first married William Parrish (1764-1809). Ann and William had one son, Benjamin Parrish (1801-1808) who predeceased both his parents. Ann's first husband, William, died August 8, 1809. Nearly nine years later, on March 19, 1818, Ann married Joseph Swift Keen (1789-1883). Ann and Joseph Swift Keen had six children (five sons and one daughter): John Sidney Keen (1819-1872), Morris Longstreth Keen (1820-1883), Joseph Longstreth Keen (1821-1874), Walter Cooke Keen (1823-1823), Jason Fenimore Keen (1825-1900), and Anne Caroline [Keen] Sellers (1827-1900).

On Sunday evening [May 31, 1840], Mrs. ANN KEEN, wife of Joseph Keen in the 58th year of her age. The friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend her funeral, from her late residence, in West Philadelphia, on Wednesday afternoon, at 3 o'clock. Funeral to proceed to Swedes Church, Kingsessing.
