Obituary - North Franklin, NY — Catherine L. Zuk, 75, of North Franklin passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.
She was born Jan. 6, 1929, in Montauk Point, the daughter of Homer (Davis) and Viola McCabe.
She married Peter F. Zuk on Feb. 8, 1947.
For a period of time, Catherine worked for Fay's Drugs in Oneonta, and prior to that at the Oneonta Dress Company.
She was a member of the Franklin Community Bible Church.
Catherine enjoyed camping and the special times spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Peter F. Zuk of North Franklin; her children and their spouses, William B. Zuk of Franklin, Doreen (Thomas) Lepore of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Peter F. (Margaret) Zuk III of Franklin, Andrew (Kim M.) Zuk of North Franklin, Evelyn Zuk of North Franklin, Kathy (Chris) Mahon of Cave Creek, Ariz., Paul Zuk of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., and the Rev. Kenneth (Lisa) Zuk of Khabarovsk, Russia; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Marion McLaughlin of Hanover, Conn., and a brother, Wayne Davis of Norwich, Conn.; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the Franklin Community Bible Church with the Rev. Walter Schlundt and the Rev. Kenneth Zuk, her son, officiating.
Burial will be in the Ouleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin.
Friends may call on Friday, June 11, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth L. Bennett Funeral Home, Franklin, at which time the family will be in attendance.
