Lillis Ball Jones, 90, of Parrish, died Aug. 5, 2004. Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 9, 10-11 a.m., with a service to follow at 11 a.m. at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manatee Avenue Chapel. Burial will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens, Palmetto. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, Attn: Hospice House of Palmetto, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Fla. 34238. She is survived by four sons, Arthur Ball of Parrish, Robert Ball of Bradenton, John Ball of Sarasota, and Raymond Ball of Kings Landing, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
