Funeral services for Loma Dean Guice, 80, of Sicily Island, LA will be held at Pine Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Clois Cole and Charles Rutledge officiating with Ernie Reeves delivering the Eulogy, Bro. James Gass and Carlo Sciara providing the music. Interment will follow at New Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Loma Guice was born on September 22, 1932 in Sicily Island, Louisiana and passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. He was a resident of Sicily Island, a Bleach Plant Operator and a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by:
Parents John Fielding and Mary Janie Langston Guice
Siblings Friley Guice, Herd Guice, Lester Guice, Eloise Guice Monroe and Muriel Guice Well.

Survivors include:
His wife of 57 years Pug Guice of Sicily Island, LA
Daughter -Elizabeth Susanne Delhoste and husband Eddie of Rayville, LA
Son Loma Dewayne Guice and wife Jackie of Harrisonburg, LA
Grandchildren Crystal Guice, Vickie Guice, Miranda White, Nicki Delhoste Fryer and husband John Randall, Mark Edward Delhoste and wife Frances Garner Delhoste, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces and newphews

Pallbearers will be Joe Wells, Chuck Smith, Kenneth Monroe, Walter "Pot" Krause, Mark Delhoste, Greg Guice, and Danny Walston.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Walker, International Paper Retirees, Stan Guice, James Carpenter Jr., Jimmy Farmer, Eric Chauvin, Bobby Staring, Gary Staring, Son Guice, and Richard Acker.
