Born in England, she was raised in Memphis, TN. Wife of James Doyle, mother of Albert, Arthur, Edward, and Daisy.

PORTLAND WOMAN IS CALLED BY DEATH.
Mrs. Mary A. Doyle, a prominent worker in the Piedmont Presbyterian Church, died yesterday at her home, 1203 East Ninth street North.
Mrs. Doyle was born in Birmingham, England, January 17, 1847. She came to Portland 35 years ago, and had resided here continuously since.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter, A. E. Doyle, Arthur M. Doyle, and Mrs. James T. Edgerton. Two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Eliza Warwick, Mrs. C. A. Vanderhoof and John Oakey, live in Memphis, Tenn.
Mrs. Doyle taught a large Sunday school class, and was beloved by the young people of her church.
The funeral plans will be announced tomorrow.
