Willie E Kirk, 72, of 1621 North Liberty, Independence, died yesterday at the Veterans hospital. He was born in Blooming Grove, Tex., and moved to Independence from Durango, Colo., a year ago. Mr. Kirk was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saint Slover Park church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Annie Kirk of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Good, Montrose, Colo., and Mrs. Betty Allen, Cortez, Colo.; two sons, Gordon Kirk, Durango, and Leo Kirk, Cortez; a sister, Mrs. Vercie Carter, El Paso, Tex.; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday at the Speaks chapel; burial in Montrose. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at the chapel.
