Ercell C. Thompson, 86, of Venice, died Monday (Sept. 20, 1982) at Venice Hospital.
Born in North Carolina, she came to the area 22 years ago from Silver Spring, Md. She was a housewife and member of First Baptist Church.
She leaves a son, Dr. Talmadge Thompson of Venice; a daughter, Frances Knozen of Florida; a Brother, Cecil Corbett of South Carolina; two sisters, Mamie Coker and Lila Peterson, both of North Carolina; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Rawles Funeral Home Venice Heritage Chapel.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be at manasota Memorial Park.
