Herman was the husband of annie Louise Mary (Frankenfield) Lawton

He was the son of Luther Lawton and Mabel (white) Lawton

Obit

Herman E. Lawton, 71, of 242 Irwin Street,
Phillipsburg, died this morning at the Causa
Nursing Home, where he was a guest 2 months.
Mr. Lawton was employed as a tube tester at
Taylor-Wharton Co. for 31 years, retiring 4 years
ago.
He was a son of the late Luther & Mabel (White)
Lawton. His wife, the former Anna Frankenfield, died
last 5th March.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Phil-
lipsburg and Washington Barracks, 31, Veterans of
Foreign Wars. He was a n Army veteran of World War
I.
Surviviors include 3 daughters, Mrs. Ruth Heins &
Mrs. Charles Price, both of Phillipsburg, & Mrs. Rich-
ard Jones of Easton, & 5 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2pm Monday at the Hag-
erty Colonial Home, Phillipsburg.

The funeral of Herman E. Lawton, 242 Irwin Street, Phil-
lipsburg, who died Friday at the Causa Nursing Home, was
held this afternoon at the Hagerty Colonial Home, Phillips-
burg.
The Rev. George Molnar III of Garce Lutheran Church offi-
ciated. Interment was in Fairmount Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Harry Deremer, John Weidknecht, Ira
Hagerty, Cleveland Wooten, Edward Bernardine, Edmund
Wilson, David Steyer, & Russell Slaven.
Graveside flag services were conducted by Washington
Barracks 31, VFW.
