Edna Earl was the daughter of Charlie M. Cardwell & Isla Mae Harris Cardwell. She married Jesse W. Lane (1912-2005) on May 23,1932. Jesse W. & Edna Earl were the parents of: (1) Betty Frances Shipman (Liv.), (2) Ronnie Wade Lane (1939-2004) & (3) Dale Lee Lane (Liv.). She was the Grandmother of Six Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren and Seven Great Great Grandchildren. She graduated from Banquete High School and after marriage, she lived in Odem, Texas as a Housewife & Mother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Odem, Texas. She died at her Son's residence in Harlingen, Texas at the age of 97 years old.
