Phyllis Anne (Moore) Anderson Ferguson of the Masonic Home in Burlington went to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 14, 2012. She had 91 wonderful years of life.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Beyer Moore and Sara Bradford (Harvey) of Philadelphia. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she served in the U.S. Navy (WAVES) from 1942 to 1946 and worked as a storekeeper second class to serve her country.

After her service, she married her beloved husband, Malcolm 'Mac' Howard Anderson Sr. of Bridgeboro, N.J., in 1946.

She worked for many years at The Evergreens Home in Moorestown, as the activities director. After the passing of Mac, she married the Rev. Quentin Ferguson, who also later passed away.

Phyllis is survived by her two sons, Malcolm Howard Jr. (Nancy) of Edgewater Park and Bradford Leigh (Karen) of Riverside; stepdaughters, Margaret Ferguson Miller (Raymond) of Colorado, and the late Carlotta Ferguson Brown. She also is survived by her loving sister, Elizabeth Moore Felton (the late Bruce) of Burlington; and her loving grandchildren, Bradford Anderson Jr. (girlfriend, Marlo) of Voorhees, Rosemary Anderson of Audubon, Richard Furniss (Michelle) of Delanco, and Suzanne Quentin, Joanne Miller and Allison Rimland of Colorado. She also will be sadly missed by her many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Phyllis was a member of the Covenant Chapter 108, Order of the Eastern Star, the Sterling Club, the Plastic Club, a nine-year member of the Delran School Board and member of Delran Fire Co. No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary in Bridgeboro.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Phyllis' extraordinary life at a memorial ceremony at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at Christ Church Garden (Episcopal), Riverton.
