Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Adkins Elmore, 40, died Wednesday at the Rosary Hospital in Campbellsville. The daughter of Mrs. Sarah Jane [Sidebottom] Adkins & the late Flem B. Adkins, she was born in Green County, March 18, 1913. She was a member of the Summersville Nazarene Church, Besides her husband, William Elmore, she is survived by 3 daughters, Gilda Lee, Lettie Orena and Mary Jane Elmore; 2 sons, Jimmie Dale Elmore, and William E. Elmore with the US Air Force, stationed at San Antonio, TX; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Jane Adkins, Greensburg; 4 brothers, Frank, Raymond, Edwin and Flem Adkins Jr., all of Louisville; 5 sisters, Mrs. Christine Moran, Greensburg, Mrs. Irene Oakes, Martinsville, IN, Mrs. Josie Levine, Chicago, IL, and Miss Emma Adkins, Green County. At press time arrangements had not been completed for funeral services.
