Eva was born April 3, 1917, in Lovell to Leonard and Julia Lynn. She attended Lovell schools and married TG Green on September 25, 1936. Four children, Leonard, Geraldine, Diane, and Dennis, were born into this marriage. In later years, following TG's death on October 5, 1960, she married Edward O. (Orvin) Asay on July 22, 1968.
Eva worked at Vaughn Ragsdale, Brown's Bakery, the Great Western Sugar Factory, and the Rose Bowl Café in Lovell during her lifetime. Eva was a great cook and loved needlework, working in the yard, camping, fishing, riding the Polaris Ranger, and traveling, taking 27 trips to California and Arizona with Geraldine and Diane and friends, and taking walks with her dear friend, Irene Flahaut. She was active in all of her church callings and enjoyed them all.
Eva was preceded in death by her husbands TG Green and Edward O. Asay, son Leonard Green, grandson Michael Townsend, parents Leonard and Julia Lynn, brothers Leo, Edward, Leonard, and Ross Lynn, and sisters Pearl Sessions, Lou Hettinger, and Marcy Porter.
She is survived by her children Geraldine (Tim) Townsend of Cowley, Diane (Gary) Ley of Powell, and Dennis (Jean) Green of Casper and stepchildren Jan Ellis of Cowley and Scott (Vicky) Asay of Lovell; daughter-in-law Judy Green; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Julia Paris of Billings and Ireta Fuller Musgrave of Lovell.
Services will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lovell at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Lovell Cemetery.
