Albert William Yates, age 83, died November 22, 1991 in a Tooele nursing home.
Born March 5, 1908 in LakePoint, Utah to William George and Fannie Elizabeth Tracy Yates. Married Emma Lee, June 29, 1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Member of the LDS Church. He was an electrician at the Tooele Army Depot for 30 years. Served as a ward clerk for 20 years under five bishops; secretary of the High Priest Quorum. He enjoyed spectator sports.
Survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Farrell (Donna) Harwood; one son, Nolan, both of Tooele; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Loran J. Yates, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 26, at 1:00 p.m., in the Tooele 5th/8th Ward
Chapel. Friends may call at the Tate Mortuary from noon, until time of services.
Burial, Tooele City Cemetery.
