She attended Bethel Baptist Church in Topeka. She was an avid bowler at the Gage Bowl North Leagues. Opal married Orville R Lewis in 1984. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. (Mary Annabelle Fisher Ogan) Survivors include a son, Donald Crenshaw and his wife, Shirley of Topeka; a step-daughter, Barbara Schultz and her husband Donald of Topeka; a brother, Robert Fisher and his wife, Earlene of Des Moines IA; two grandsons, Greg Crenshaw and his wife Tena and Jason Crenshaw and his wife Judi of Topeka; four great grandchildren, Kyle, Bradley, Nicolas and Dylan Crenshaw. two step-grandchildren, Mike Hoffer and Teresa Hasenkamp of Topeka.
Funeral services will be 1 pm, Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs Lewis will lie in state from Noon to 9 pm, Wednesday at the Davidson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7-8 pm.
Interment will be at Rochester Cemetery.
