Emma walked on this earth 93 years,4 months the sweetest mother any one could ever want. She was the daughter of Thad and Margarett (Croy) Hill. Her daddy was killed by lightening when she was only seven years old.She had four brothers Edgar, Oscar,Clint and Bob, three sisters Ina,Ida,and Pair Lee. She married Noah Bagley Dec. 14,1924. Gave birth to 8 children , life was never easy for my mama, daddy had a stroke, was never able to walk again without a walker. For 9 years mama took care of him at home and never complained, after he passed in 1971 she lived on to be 93. We miss her so much but her body was wore out and she was ready to go on to her Heavenly home.we will meet her again one day.I appreciate all the flowers and lovely notes left on my mothers memorial

The last six months of my mothers life was really bad for her..She got sick and was put in the hospital for test. They found she had a lot of stones in her gall bladder, in fact there were six very large stones, so they had to do surgery, the stones were imbedded in her liver and that meant they could not do it by laser, after the operation she was in ICU for several days, in all she was in the hospital for four weeks and then to rehab for three weeks, then home, she had to use a walker to walk.My brother (Ruben) lived with her. he got her off the walker and back on her feet.
BUT .. her memory of her past was wiped out~ She knew us,her kids but remembered nothing else, she did not recognize the places we took her to. She did know her friends when they came to visit but did not remember being in the hospital or anything that she had done in the past. It was so strange and confusing to her and us. The doctors couldn't explain it except from a lot of medicine she had took. She begged us every day to take her home because she did not think she was at her house. She thought we was mean to her by not taking her to her home. She would beg me to tell her what she had done to be treated so mean. We tryed every thing we knew to help her to know she was at her home.we took her to our houses but it was always the same, she wanted to go to her home. It was hurting us so bad to see her hurt this way.We loved her so much we would have done anything to help her. Then three days after Christmas in 2000 she fell in her living room floor and broke her hip, after surgery to set her hip she would not eat or take any medicine, said she did not want it.. We knew then that she was ready to go home.. To Heaven..Then the doctors told us she would not make it and in a short time she passed

Many thanks to Nora Carney Maeser for the touch up of my Momma's picture it looks beautiful..
