Wallace "Bud" Bettencourt passed away at Life Care Center of Reno. He was born in Washington.
Bud joined the Army in 1940 and served in WWII in the South Pacific. He was a life-time member of D.A.V., VFW and the American Legion.
Bud is survived by his wife of 22 years, Donna; sons, Tim and Brad; daughter, Jody; step-daughters, Deborah and Peggy; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nev.
