Lloyd E. Pearsall, 77, of Cordova, died Sunday at IIlini Hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church, Coe Township. Burial will be In Pleasant Point Cemtery, Coe Township. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Dailey-Gibson Funeral Home, Port Byron. Memorials may be made to the church, of which he was a member, Mr Pearsall was born in Coe Township, where he married Erma Simpson in 1934. She died in 1946. He married Verna Weideman In 1949 in Hampton Township. He was a farmer and former Coe Township clerk. He was a member of National Farmers Union, of which he was Rock Island County president. He was a former director of the union's state board, former member of Rock Island County fair board, past president of Pleasant Point Cemetery board, and a deacon at the church. Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Pat Scherschel, Hampton; two sons, Robert Pearsall, Hillsdale and David Pearsall, Peoria; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
