Sterling T. Tatum, 76, of Valliant died Jan. 4 in Idabel.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Jan. 7 at Felker Baptist Church with the Rev. George Harvey officiating. Burial was in Moran Cemetery.
A farmer and rancher, Tatum had lived in McCurtain County for 25 years. He was born Jan. 29, 1913 in Valliant. In 1934, he married Bertie Thomas in Valliant. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Arizona.
Survivors include his wife, Bertie, of the home; son, Clifford Tatum, Valliant; daughter, Lois Robinette, Casa Grande, Ariz.; sister, Mary Jmes, Wallace, Idaho; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were under the direction of Coffey-Leonard Funeral Home of Idabel.
