Alfred Eugene Adkins died Tuesday in Franklin Tennessee. He was a professional engineer and registered land surveyor a native of Giles County, a 1937 graduate of Prospect High School and 91 years old.
Services will be held tomorrow at 1pm in the Oaks & Nichols Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Frank Smith officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held today from 4=8pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter Susan Elizabeth Adkins Scott and husband James of Nashville, son Stephen Adkins of Columbia and sister Miriam Lovenia Adkins Shoemaker of Nashville.
