Nina F. Strimple, 90, of Grants Pass died Thursday, Oct. 2, 1997, at Royale Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hull & Hull chapel. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
She was born Nina Fern LaRue on June 10, 1907, in Luther, Mich., and moved to California in 1928. In 1946, she moved to Grants Pass. On April 25, 1962, in Carson City, Nev., she married George A. Strimple who died in 1979.
Her hobbies included making latch hook rugs, embroidery, gardening, and yard work.
Survivors include a son, Fred Chartrand of Santa Rosa, Calif.; a daughter, Lila Layman of Glendale; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
