Final arrangements were handled by Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home in Fort Myers, Florida, and Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie, Georgia. A memorial service was held September 22, 2007, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, where Mrs. Welch was a member. Donations may be made to that church at 1819 Hill Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33901.
