Minnie Oxley McDonald can first be found in the 1880 census at the age of one month in Morehead, Rowan County, Kentucky with her parents, James R. & Matilda Oxley. Matilda is noted as 'Tillie' on this death certificate. Her siblings noted were Lula, Jefferson, Maggie D., Dee, Julia and Amelia A. Her step-mother Sarah is noted in a following census image while she still lived in Rowan County, KY. She married a Mr. Charles McDonald at an unknown date and is noted passing away of Cancer of the Uterus while in Cleveland, OH. The research continues to demonstrate that Minnie is directly related to my Great-Grandmother, Katie Fox. On her application for a Social Security card in 1942, Katie listed James R. & Matilda Oxley as her parents. I have not been able to link her with these parents or any of the siblings noted here. The search continues....
