Jonathan Bateman came to the colonies 26 Feb 1667. He signed papers 26 FEB 1667 to be apprenticed to Katherin Taylor, VA, for four years.

Jonathan Bateman was granted 400a in Perquimans Co "on west side of Perq River, in the Pocoson, by ye side of Robert Wilsons Creek", 1684. It is possible that he is buried on this property.
